Overview
Rapid technology change coupled with evolving threats mean that Defence Forces around the world must face increasingly complex challenges in developing Force Structures and Capabilities needed to deliver against their nation’s Defence Policy both now and in the future. The aim of this short course is to train, equip and prepare Senior Managers and stakeholders in the defence sector to meet these challenges and lead the development of strategically coherent and affordable capabilities.
Learning objectives
The week-long course is designed as a focused package taking the attendees all the way from unified national strategies and how multiple disciplines interconnect with each other to the development and acquisition of an effective defence capability that unifies the defence department’s multiple disciplines (e.g. ground, air and marine).
Who should attend?
This course is appropriate to senior defence personnel in army, air force and navy, and senior managers from the defence specific industries.
This course can be offered in the UK and, a tour of facility in the Defence Academy of the UK MOD will also be organised.
